Redfin Homes for Sale & Rent App Reviews

Adding in all the sold and estimates make the app worthless for real searching. How hard would it be to put in a filter for sold property? App has become more unstable. Use to be a good app but no longer of any use. Updates are not fixing the problem. When I am looking for listings I want houses for sale. I dont want to wade through houses already sold.

This app has everything you will need in a real-estate app. It has great features like street view, you can circle an area you want to see properties, and it has way more info on properties then other apps. This is definitely my favorite app! It only has a couple problems: 1. You cant zoom out very far before it annoyingly forces you to zoom back in 2. They still dont have Alaska properties 3. And they need a bigger price range. Like starting at $25,000 instead of $50,000

Im a pretty picky person and a have high expectations from apps; tiny inconveniences tend to bother me. This app, however, just keeps getting better. Its one of the few for which I didnt have suggestions on how it can be improved.

I found our home on Redfin before our agent found it. I love all of the features and it was also a great tool for looking at comparable homes when it came time to sell.

Only flaw that I can bring up about this app is the time I lost using other property finders apps, I wish Redfin was on my devices sooner. This is how a property finder app should be.

I find this app to be the easiest to navigate of the other home searchers. One suggestion, it would be great if you could add notes to a home so that you can see quickly that you already viewed and why you did not want to pursue. Many times I forget until Ive the viewed home again and realize why I didnt pursue the first time around.

Tells you everything you need to know about buying a house. The street view link has a glitch from the iPad. But overall great for house hunting.

If I want to zoom in, then I will. I dont need the app to auto zoom in on a location.

This app is really exceptional! I like the fact that it tells you if a property is under contract or contingent. The only negative is that it doesnt have an area locator.

10/12/16 - Latest update on iPad does not update. Also the app will not even delete so that I can reinstall! Otherwise its an awesome app when it works.

But like all apps and websites you can not select a first floor master for the searches.

Its easy to use, and provides lots of information in an intuitive way. Also makes scheduling home tours easy.

This is a very intuitive app, with all of the information you would want easily accessible. Satellite views, pinch to zoom, tap to get detail, attempt to get more detail and photos.

Very well designed user interface. Makes it easy to access your favorites, map a route, comment on homes with a co-buyer. Using this with the website saves a lot of time sifting through data.

Well designed, highly usable, excellent performance, intuitive, a pleasure to use, and SO much better than the competition. I dropped Zillow and switched to Redfin because of this app.

Awesomeness

This app is so good, I prefer using it on my iPhone over using the Redfin web site on iMac. Zooming out lets you see how many properties are available in a given area. The touching that sum total zooms in to let you see the actual links to individual properties. Thats my favorite feature.

I only care what is for sale...not what sold a year ago. The inability to filter extraneous junk from the map and having to remember the color coding for each symbol is a complete annoyance. Less is sometimes better.

Ive been bringing my iPad with me to open houses and using it as the center of real estate hunts for years. If Redfin cant be bothered to enable portrait view on their iPad app, even in the year 2016, I wont be using it. End of story.
